The school-based wellness center which is located in the health suite will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 AM-12 noon.
A nurse practitioner and pediatrician will provide the health services to students which will include diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses, such as ear infections and Strep throat, management of chronic health problems like asthma, acne, and obesity, and provide health education. For students who do not have a health provider, annual physicals will be provided. There are no charges, co-pays, or deductibles for families to pay.
To receive services, students must have their parents or guardians complete an enrollment packet which can be downloaded from the school’s website or obtained from the health suite. Appointments can be made by stopping in the wellness center or by calling 410-313-7238.
