Celebrate Earth Day with the whole family on Saturday, April 23rd from 10am-12noon at Slayton House – 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, MD. Enjoy crafts
for the little ones and get information about how to keep our earth happy and healthy!
In addition to children’s activities sponsored by Howard County Recreation and Parks and Wilde Lake HS’s Environmental Club, the day’s lineup will include:
· A plant exchange by our CARES committee
· Native plant sale by Howard EcoWorks
· Community bike ride from Bike HoCo
· Information on how to register for curb-side pickup of compost
· Performance by Wilde Lake HS’s step group G4L!
This is also Wilde Lake Village’s election day, so Wilde Lake residents can stop in and vote for their Columbia Council Representative.
This FREE community event is brought to you by the Wilde Lake Community Association, in partnership with area stakeholders. Village Manager, Kristin Shulder, states, “The Wilde Family Earth Day Celebration is a great opportunity to get families outside, to appreciate our amazing planet and remind everyone how important it is to take care of it.”
