The WLHS Students for Social Justice (S4SJ) have organized a community book drive for diverse books! They are looking for books featuring characters or written by authors of diverse backgrounds. The S4SJ wants to help educate others about the importance of raising awareness by sharing stories of marginalized individuals. Once the collection is over, they will place the books in various Little Free Libraries around the community. The book drive is currently running and ends June 1st. You can drop off your book donations in the box located outside Wilde Lake High School's main doors (5460 Trumpeter Rd, Columbia, MD 21044) at any time. However, they only ensure book safety for drop-offs during school hours (7:30 am-3:00 pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri or 7:30 am-11:00 am Wed). Here is the link to the flyer with this information.
