The last day to get your course requests for next school year into Synergy has been extended until Monday, January 18th at 11:59pm.  See instructions below.  

You have until January 18th to get your course requests in to Synergy.  Don't forget to request 7 credits and 4 alternates.  Your alternates should be in order of preference.  Let me or your counselor know if you have any questions.

The 21-22 Course Registration presentation was provided today during Wildecat Time. Students can now review their teacher recommendations, add their course requests and four alternates in Synergy. Remember students will need a total of 7 courses and 4 alternates.The last day to enter course requests and alternates is Friday, January 15, 2021. Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) is planning for a 7-period school day during 2021-2022. However, in the event HCPSS continues a 4x4 schedule, the first alternate will be the eighth course. Students will select a total of four alternates. Please add alternates in priority order and do not duplicate priorities. 

School Counselors will schedule virtual course registration appointments with all students, January 6th - February 17th. You and your student will receive communication from your school’s Student Services Department regarding your student/counselor course registration appointments. It is critical that your student attend their virtual course registration appointment to ensure that their course selections are complete and that they are marking progress towards graduation. 

Students are welcome to drop in to the Counselor Corner on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00am - 12:00pm until December 22, 2020. (Meet Code: WLHSCounselorCorner).  

Parents/Families are welcome to attend a Question and Answer session on Wednesday, December 16th from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
