Enter the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s in Chicago—the High School Edition and witness this musical vaudeville tale of Roxie Hart-- on trial for murder.  Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival celebrity cellmate Velma Kelly by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.  Chicago is a cynical look at America’s celebrity culture and its corrupt judicial system, presented through the highly-stylized language of song and legendary Bob Fosse dance.  Flashy, sassy, & tawdry, Chicago gives you “All that Jazz” and plenty to ponder….
