Bryant Woods Elementary School has an opportunity to earn Service Learning Hours for any student who has an interest working with youth long-term and would like more experience, or a student who is in need of service hours and enjoys working with youth.

After talking with families and our team, we have recognized that one of the barriers that inhibit families from participating in PTA meetings and presentations is access to childcare. In an effort to engage families that traditionally have not been involved or engaged in PTA meetings or events, we are currently looking to bring childcare to our meetings.

Our meetings will take place once a month and the students would only be needed from about 7 - 8:15 PM. The dates of our meetings are Nov 16, Dec 21, Jan 18, Feb 15, Mar 15, Apr 19 and May 17. Activities will be provided and students will be assisting a lead person with the group.

This is a great opportunity for any student who has an interest working with youth long-term and would like more experience or a student who is in need of service hours and enjoys working with youth.
