Seed2Startup is a free, Howard County-based, one-month summer program in July, designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders build real-world skills through hands-on experience. Participants will create and run their own mini-business from start to finish: developing an idea, creating a product/ service, marketing to customers, managing finances, and learning how to solve challenges along the way.
This program is designed to support independence, while still providing structure, logistical support, mentorship, and a community of like-minded peers. This program is flexible in structure, making it easy for students to participate alongside summer jobs, sports, travel, and other commitments.
By the end of the program, students will keep the profits they earn as seed money to invest in future startup ventures, continue growing their business, or donate to a charity of their choice.
Seed2Startup is an exciting opportunity for students to gain practical business experience, strengthen leadership skills, and walk away having spearheaded an end-to-end project.
