We are excited to share that we have another official business partner, The Mall in Columbia!
Working together, we look to promote student success and good citizenship by developing a “good neighbor” relationship and encouraging each individual to be a positive force within the community.
Here are some of the way that we hope to encourage collaboration between our students, staff, and businesses:
*Mall representatives to become part of the WLHS community by joining students for lunch, participating in restorative justice circles, speaking to classes, and volunteering for school events and programs
*Participate in WLHS restorative justice circles to address youth related issues at The Mall.
*Encourage Mall staff and retailers to support school events and programs, such as Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS), junior interviews, student internships, etc.
*Offer job fairs, Career Day, speak with WLHS classes about the day-to-day business of operating The Mall, including topics such as customer service, logistics, marketing, etc.
*Invite WLHS students and staff to participate in Mall events such as fashion shows, job fairs, back to school programs, Mall walkers, etc.
*WLHS performing groups showcase their talents at The Mall
