The BSAP College and Career Opportunity Night is an annual event that exposes and provides students in grades 8 through 12 the opportunity to meet with colleges, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities, business and entrepreneur recruiters in a variety of career fields. As a part of the HBCU Experience, Bowie State University’s Symphony of Soul Marching Band will be performing their award winning renditions. This year’s keynote speaker is Mr. Omar S. Muhammad, Morgan State University’s Director of Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center. He will address current trends and opportunities for students to explore entrepreneurship now and in the future. Following the keynote, several small group sessions will be offered to meet individual needs and interests of students and families. To assist students in specific areas in regards to graduation and post-secondary life, students are able to pre-register for a 20-minute appointment with a school counselor.
