Students should bring their fully charged HCPSS Chromebook to school everyday. Please make sure you plug it in overnight so you are ready to go the next day. If students try to use their Chromebook on less than 10% the Chromebook will often lock the Chromebook to save battery. To fix this, plug it in until it gets a good charge and then try to turn it on again. Please try to keep your Chromebook cord at home if possible since students are financially responsible for lost cords. It is best to charge it at night and leave the cord at home.
If a student has not been issued an HCPSS Chromebook, please have them stop by the Media Center to receive a Chromebook and cord. Unfortunately we will not be able to issue students a device if they have an obligation and loaners are often very limited. You can check to see if you have a technology obligation by following these directions:
