The Black Student Achievement Program of Wilde Lake High School will be having its first session of Black History Chalk Talk Wednesday, November 6th from 2:15PM to 3:30PM in room #338. These sessions are open to all students of Wilde Lake. Students who sign up will have a chance to learn about the accomplishments and achievements of influential Black pioneers. Topics that will also be explored throughout the course of the year will be the historic education of blacks in Howard County, Influential Black Women in history, black innovators, current social issues and much more. These sessions will provide a safe space to build relationships and engage with others around different perspectives while taking a critical look at the black historical experience.
