To the Wilde Lake Football Community,
I would like to inform you of my decision to retire as the Head Football coach at Wilde Lake High School. I have served in many capacities with in the program over the past 34 seasons and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment I have been affiliated with the Wildecat Football program. I am tremendously proud of the accomplishments of the program, the athletes who have played at Wilde Lake, and the coaches and athletic trainers who have served the program.
I must thank all of the volunteers, boosters, parents, administrators, trainers, and assistant coaches who have supported the Wildecat Football program and myself over these many years. Without them we would have never achieved the level of success that we have enjoyed. I also want to recognize the tremendous support and guidance given to me by my predecessor, Doug DuVall. He believed in me and mentored me throughout my coaching career and for that I will forever be grateful. My greatest thanks go to my wife Dinah and my daughters Katelyn and Kourtney who have supported me throughout my career in more ways than I can ever put into words.
I encourage the athletes in the program to follow the examples of the past Wildecats. Put in your best effort each and every day as you strive to accomplish all of the goals you set for yourself! As I start the next chapter in my life I will always keep in mind that I am, as all of you are, a Wildecat at heart.
Go Cats,
Coach Harrison
