Public schools are the cornerstone of our communities. We each play a role in ensuring our schools are open to all, accessible to all, and supportive of all, no matter the students’ backgrounds, abilities, religions, identities, or incomes. During American Education Week, we celebrate public education and show our appreciation for the men and women who make a truly valuable difference in ensuring every child receives a quality education.  

Throughout American Education Week, WLHS invites parents into the classroom to observe our classroom for a hands-on experience of what the day is like for their child. If you would like to visit, please be sure to stop by the front office to check in upon your arrival and receive a visitor's badge.
