2015 Transition Fair DATE: Wednesday, November 4th – 6- 8 pm LOCATION: WILDE LAKE HIGH SCHOOL, 5460 TRUMPETER ROAD, COLUMBIA, MD 21044 Join us at the Transition Fair on Wednesday, November 4th at Wilde Lake School to learn about options available to young adults receiving special education services and transition planning for life after graduation. Agencies will be onsite to provide information on the services that are available to you and your child. HCPSS will provide a road map to guide you through the process based on your child’s age, and whether or not he/she is earning a diploma or certificate of completion. The Transition Fair will include 4 Breakout Sessions *Resource Coordination – Service Coordination, MMARS RC & Total Care for Support Services *Department of Rehabilitation Services – DORS *Transition 101 – question/answer session with Transition Specialists from Howard County Schools *Parent Forum with Jim Long and Chris Woodhead – each has transitioned a child to adult services
