Did you know that the WLHS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) survey last year showed that suicide prevention is a major concern for Wilde Lake students and staff? Would you like to learn more about what you can do to help stop the epidemic of suicide among teens and young adults?

Grassroots Crisis Center is holding the folloiwng event:

*QPR Suicide Prevention Training will be held on September 29th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Grassroots. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer -- 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Cost is $3.
